Mr. Philippe Faure is the Vice President Face Recognition Solutions at Thales, leading the development of Thales video-based facial recognition solutions, to improve physical and digital security as well as customer experience for applications in airports, cities, banks, hotels, and sensitive sites.
Mr. Faure has over 35 years’ experience in digital transformation and biometric solutions. He held various managerial and executive roles at Gemalto, including Director of Telecom Services, Chief Digital Officer and Chief Information Officer. Prior to Gemalto, Mr. Faure also worked for Atos and Schlumberger.
Mr. Faure holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from École Centrale Paris and a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
