Warren Nicholson

Founder/President/CEO

Warren Nicholson is the founder, president, and CEO of Nfina Technologies, a U.S.-based manufacturer of cyber-secure servers, data storage, and scalable edge solutions with built-in backup and DR.

He has a solid track record in establishing successful companies in Alabama. He founded N-Tron Corp., a leading industrial networking company that serves a $1B market, and successfully sold it in 2010 to Spectris LLC, a publicly traded FTSE company. After decades of technology experience in creating rugged, high-reliability networking equipment and with a desire to bring that quality and performance to the mainstream data storage market, Warren started Nfina Technologies in 2012. Warren believes that Nfina’s success has come from being highly responsive to our customers’ needs and our commitment to the reseller channel.

Warren holds an MSEE degree from the University of South Alabama and has a long history of working on various projects with universities, including establishing and funding scholarship endowments in both the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering at the University of South Alabama. He recently received the University School of Computing's Distinguished Alumni Award, which is given to a graduate who has achieved noteworthy accomplishments through technology, service, and philanthropy.

Through Nfina's partnership with the School of Computing, Warren continues to mentor and guide student interns and work with groups of students in Nfina’s managed internship programs. He plays a vital role in advising and advocating for the university and in helping to develop a pipeline of talented technology professionals who will enter the workforce.

Warren enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, and playing his guitar.
