Ro Kolakowski


Ro Kolakowski has more than 20 years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment analysis, and development of operational strategy with an emphasis in telecommunications and technology.

He was a senior equity analyst covering telecommunications companies in Latin America, including Telmex and Telebras while at D.A. Campbell Company Inc. In addition, he provided investment banking services to midmarket companies while at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance. Mr. Kolakowski has also served on the executive team overseeing the assets of the Greenspun family in Las Vegas, which included 13 operating companies (including the Las Vegas Sun,, and a significant stake in Cox Communications) and significant private and public equity portfolios. He dealt specifically with buyouts, private equity investments, financings, operational strategy, and the development of new business relationships on behalf of the Greenspun family.

In 2002, Mr. Kolakowski founded 6th Street Consulting, a management consulting firm focused on providing strategy and technology consulting services. Today, 6th Street Consulting is one of Microsoft's top partners in the country offering SharePoint and Office 365 services.

Mr. Kolakowski holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and is also a chartered financial analyst. He also serves as the U.S. President of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP).
