Pete Busam is founder and owner of Equilibrium Consulting LLC. Equilibrium serves a broad range of commercial, institutional, and government clients throughout the United States and Canada. Under his leadership, Equilibrium has been repeatedly recognized for quality and performance by clients and major industry partners.
From creating a $6 million commercial IT services business from scratch in two years to directing a major reorganization recreating a substantial business presence in the Delaware Valley, Pete’s business successes are well known in the IT community. As a Chief Operating Officer at an east coast solutions provider, for example, Pete helped the firm refocus on its core technical competencies, create strong, stable operations, and achieve solid profitability.
Pete’s speaking engagements have included events for CRN/VarBusiness, HP/Microsoft SMB Council, Ingram Micro Seismic Conferences, as well as Various OEM partner events. Pete has also been published in Entrepreneur, Today’s Professional Insurance, CRN/VarBusiness, Philadelphia Business Journal, The Wall Street Journal, and many other periodicals.
Pete has also been recognized by CRN, Philadelphia Business Journal, and Inc. Magazine, and most recently appeared on the MSPMentor 250 Executives list. He has been a member of the HP/Microsoft Council and many other industry advisory councils.
Pete is a Retired United States Navy veteran. He currently serves as a member of the Burlington County College Foundation Board of Trustees, Peirce College IT Academic Advisory Board, The Southern New Jersey Arts and Business Council, the Technology Committee of the Southern New Jersey, NJ Economic Development Council, and the Burlington County Institute of Technology Jobs-to-Work Advisory Group. He is also a retired commissioner of the Marlton, N.J., Recreation Council Soccer Program as has worked on behalf of several special needs, adult, and youth ministry programs.
