Hamza also holds patents in computer vision systems for applications in manufacturing and retail. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Duke University where he invented geometric techniques to analyze data from dynamical systems and discovered unique signatures of neuroelectrical activity during epileptic seizures.
