David Bennett is the Chief Executive Officer at Axcient. Bennett brings more than 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, including senior executive positions with leading IT companies. He is a proven leader with the ability to take technology companies to the next level of revenue growth and innovation.
Prior to Axcient, Bennett served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Webroot where he achieved 19 consecutive quarters of double-digit growth.
Before his tenure at Webroot, Bennett was executive director, EMEA at Lenovo and responsible for product marketing and all go-to-market activities for the “Think” business. He launched the Lenovo Consumer PC business, driving the fastest growth in Lenovo's history across 37 countries.
Bennett also served as general manager of channel sales for EMEA at Sony, where he transformed a direct sales model into a full channel model. Prior to Sony, he held executive leadership roles at Kingston Technology and Tech Data.
