Amy Babinchak is the owner of three IT related businesses: Harbor Computer Services, Third Tier, and Sell My MSP and has been working in small and medium business IT field for more than 20 years. She values technology for what it does for people and the success it brings to business. She has also been a Microsoft MVP for 11 years, received numerous leadership awards, and is a valued member of various boards guiding business growth, acquisitions, and partnerships.
Harbor Computer Services began in 2000 and won the Microsoft Partner of the Year award in 2010. It is a single award by Microsoft to the top technology firm in the world. HCS on the surface is a typical MSP, but its focus is on aligning technology with business goals and maintaining security and compliance to make them stand out. Third Tier spun out of Harbor Computer Services and began in 2008, providing a helpdesk for IT professionals. Since most IT firms are small companies, it isn't possible for them to have all of the expertise they need on staff. Third Tier aims to help them fill those gaps. The company is also known for its Ransomware Prevention Kit and Women in IT Scholarship program. Third Tier won its first award in 2015 SMB All-Star. Babinchak begain her third business, Sell My MSP, in 2015. It provides a space for buyer and seller of IT firms to meet one another. It also provides information on preparing a business for sale and performing due diligence before purchasing one.
