Lauren Sands is an inside systems engineer at Cisco. Lauren was born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas, and studied IT at George Mason University where he first got introduced to networking. From there, he interned at LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton Inc. in NYC as an IT support analyst, and eventually became the network administrator for Loro Piana, an Italian fashion house specializing in baby cashmere products, managing the systems/network for 26 stores and HQ in the U.S. Lauren then enrolled in grad school at George Washington University, and was hired as a network support engineer at Meraki. After 1.5 years in the support role, he transitioned into sales covering the U.S. public sector space.
