Ted Shafran is president of Connectability. He is a computer science graduate of York University, where he was the recipient of the CIPS award for highest standing in his final year. In 1995, he founded Connectability with a focus on end-to-end support for business IT infrastructure. Prior to that he was founder, president, and CEO of The KTS Systems Group, a large software developer.
Over the years, Ted has been a pioneer in implementing new technologies in business environments. In the early 1990s, he was instrumental in the implementation of Linux, the internet, and VPNs in corporate settings, long before they were widely in use. More recently, he has worked extensively in the areas of virtualization, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
