Rick Smith is the founder and CEO of Renactus Technology LLC, a managed service provider based in Union, N.J. Renactus' primary focus is to provide professional in-house IT services to small and medium businesses that do not have on-staff support or expertise. The goal at Renactus is to relieve the business owner of the stress and complications of their technology and “Simply Make IT Work” for them.
A 1992 graduate of the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Economics, Rick spent a few years working in the finance sector but was quickly drawn to the exciting world of technology and the internet. Initially building and repairing computers for friends and family as a hobby, that quickly turned into a home-based business, forcing him to leave the corporate world and focus on his true passion.
As a father of three girls, Rick has learned the three traits that serve him best in business: patience, understanding, and seeing things from a different perspective!
