Victor Beitner

Victor has been working in the technology industries for over 30 years and the last 19 have been focused on network security and cyber issues. His first remediation was in 1995 for an email compromise. Things haven’t changed much.
When the Canadian Government announced the CyberSecure Canada Certification program, Cyber Security Canada was listed as a Certification Body.

CyberSecure Canada is a federal cyber certification program that aims to raise the cyber security baseline among Canadian SMEs, increase consumer confidence in the digital economy, promote international standardization and better position SMEs to compete globally.

Victor is also the Chair of the Georgian College Protection, Security & Investigations Advisory Committee and holds a CISSP as well as other certifications and degrees, that allows him the ability to adapt quickly and confidently to any security situation. He is also regularly called upon for multi-media interviews by local and international media concerning cybersecurity issues. His in-depth knowledge and expertise in cyber security has featured him in print, radio and TV news organizations such as CTV News, Global News, The Toronto Star and The Toronto Sun. Victor is also a Ham radio operator (VA3OZZ). He enjoys giving back to the community with his volunteering work.
