Tim Brien is Director of Sales for North America at Avast Business, a division of Avast, the global leader in digital security products. A passionate, experienced sales executive, Tim brings expertise in global sales strategy and execution with an 18-year background in the software and managed services market. Throughout his career, he has led sales teams, developed sales strategies, and managed teams responsible for channel development, territory management, budget oversight, and product launches in North America, Latin America, and EMEA.
In his current role at Avast Business, he is responsible for managing the new business team for the US and Canada. Prior to joining Avast, Tim held roles as Regional Vice President, Eastern North America for Saba Software, Director of Global Corporate Sales Strategies and Managed Services at OKI Electric (OKI Data Americas), Vice President of Global OEM Programs at PrintFleet, Inc., and Sales Account Executive at Ricoh Canada, Inc.
Career accomplishments include launching landmark Managed Services and Managed Print Services product lines as well as global strategies for OKI that established the company’s service structure, analytics, cloud-based technology solutions, and third-party support as well as new channel relationships and revenue streams. At PrintFleet, after securing a promotion, Tim grew the company’s expertise in remote monitoring and expanded its footprint in Europe and Asia. Tim lives in Ottawa, Canada, and enjoys spending time with the family and hitting the ski slopes as often as possible.
