As the Director of Cyber Security Practice at SVAM International, Matthew works within SVAM’s Cyber Security team, primarily focused in the areas of cybersecurity consulting, proactive risk management, digital identity, cyber defense, response and remediation services, and managed security services, catering to all industries. Matthew has 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business development, operations, and in security management in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry as well as experience within e-commerce system development, ERP development, customer service departments, manufacturing operations, and much more. Matthew brings his wealth of experience in the MSP industry consulting and operating within healthcare, financial, and defense industrial base industries from an information technology, security, and compliance perspective. Matthew has additionally managed and executed NIST CSF (Cyber Security Framework) based readiness and audit with CompTIA’s Trustmark program.He holds various certifications, such as CISSP and CCSP from ISC2, has also held certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified SonicWall Security Professional (CSSP)
He sits on the board for the cybersecurity organization ISC2 in the NJ Chapter and is an avid member of the FBI private/public information sharing group, InfraGard NJ and the IT special interest group. Matthew also works with CompTIA on their executive steering committee and compliance management working groups to help guide the technology industry at large into a more secure and compliant future.
