Austin McChord is an entrepreneur whose mission is to bring the highest level of product and service to his customers. He brings a strong technology background to his role as founder and CEO of Datto Inc. The company grew revenues over 300% in 2011 and is a leading vendor of backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, sold exclusively through the channel. His continued work and success at Datto has enabled IT Resellers to provide enterprise class BDR offerings for their clients at a SMB price point. He routinely speaks to audiences at industry trade events and participates as an advising panel member at trade association meetings. Prior to founding Datto, Austin worked for several years successfully developing and implementing software systems for both large and small organizations. He has a B.S. in Bioinformatics from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and holds several pending patents.
